Looking for Fine Dining at Popular San Diego Restaurants?

Because of San Diego's beauty, location, personality, and weather, everybody who doesn't live here, wants to vacation here. It is a city full of tourism. For this reason, we have an impressive variety of exciting restaurants to choose from. From Mexican food to fresh seafood, San Diego will not disappoint your appetite.
San Diego is famous for its Mexican food. Being so close to the border, we know how to make the greatest tacos and enchiladas in the country. Old Town is a neighborhood that should not be overlooked when discussing Mexican cuisine. San Diego Avenue in Old Town is lined with authentic Mexican restaurants. You can choose from fine dining to taco shops and not be disappointed. For a fun atmosphere and very reasonable prices, try Fred's Mexican Café.

The Historic Gaslamp District is a part of the city that holds many of the exceptional restaurants that San Diego has to offer. Whether you are in the mood for dining at a steakhouse, a Mexican restaurant, a sushi bar, a bar and grille, an Italian eatery, or a seafood restaurant, you will have several places to choose from. The Gaslamp District has many fine dining restaurants for a quiet evening, as well as many fun, crazy places that you can eat and party at the same time. Ra is a highly recommended Japanese restaurant/Sushi and Sake bar. It is located on 5th Ave. in the heart of the Gaslamp District. If you are looking for a unique experience, try Candelas on 3rd Ave. Here, you will find a distinctive blend of Mexican and French cuisine in a one of a kind atmosphere. Friday and Saturday nights are generally very crowded everywhere in the Gaslamp District, so making a reservation would be wise.

Pacific Beach is another hot spot for dining. The atmosphere is by the beach, so generally it is a more casual dining experience. Garnet Avenue is where all the action is in Pacific Beach. Mostly in this neighborhood, you will find Bar and Grilles, Pizza places, Sushi Bars, and Mexican food, all with a lot of energy and personality. Check out World Famous for excellent seafood right on the beach at Pacific Beach Drive. For a quaint, distinctive dining experience, visit Lamont Street Grille on Lamont Street, between Garnet Ave and Grand Ave. Lamont Street Grille is the place to go when you are looking for an excellent meal of fresh seafood, steak, or chicken. There desserts are just as heavenly.

Drive a bit north of the city into La Jolla for an outstanding dining experience. La Jolla offers every variety of cuisine you can imagine. You can always find somewhere along Prospect and Girard. La Jolla restaurants are among the finest, however, you may pay more for the quality, atmosphere, and location. Prices aside, you won't be disappointed. George's at the Cove is an experience you won't want to miss. Fresh seafood and filet mignon overlooking the Pacific Ocean is a hard combination to beat.

Hillcrest, Ocean Beach, San Marcos, and Del Mar are some other neighborhoods with fantastic restaurants that you won't want to miss.
